Sports & Athletic Turf Types

Polypropylene Sports Turf is made from long fibers sewn into a thin rubberized backing it must be stitched together and requires multiple layers of sand or rubber to be brushed into the turf as the last stage of installation. Polypropylene requires experience, skill, and technology to install correctly. It is designed to be installed anywhere and perfectly simulate real grass. Polypropylene is much more durable and resist UV light better than older Nylon making it very popular for modern installations. This type of turf is the choice for clients who want their artificial turf project to look better and perform better than real grass. Polypropylene turf offers several fiber lengths, colors, multi and mono directional fibers. Poly is the choice for professional teams everywhere. However, infilled turf may require minor tune-ups every 2~3 years to back fill the sand or rubber if used heavily. Shown below are only a few examples of our large polypropylene sports turf range. This is the secondary Tee Line/Hitting Mat surface available. Polypropylene allows for a stiffer fiber which makes this ideal for heavy traffic Tee Lines. Used by many of the top 100 golf courses in the US. This product DOES NOT replace the real grass, it gives the grass time to heal properly. Can be installed on a compacted aggregate base or on con-crete. Concrete will extend the life of the turf.
