Synthetic Field Turf for Sports Surfaces

Almost any sport can greatly benefit from the use of our artificial turf solutions. Discover why most professional teams use modern synthetic playing surfaces. Synthetic grass playing surfaces are great for schools, professional sports teams, churches, youth centers, neighborhood/city parks or even your seriously dedicated private athlete. The technology of artificial sports surfaces has grown dramatically in recent years. Our turf is specifically engineered to improve player performance while also improving safety at the same time. Every surface is finely tuned to provide the client with the playing characteristics they prefer. National Greens artificial turf can withstand significantly more use than natural grass and can therefore be used much more frequently. This allows teams to practice and play more frequently as well as sports ground owners to generate more income from their facilities. Indoor field installations allow for year round practice and play on a surface matched to your outdoor competition surface. This gives your team true home playing advantage. Our field turf plays, looks, and  wears better than natural grass. All while costing you dramatically less money to maintain than natural grass.

All our competitive turf installations come dressed with small recycled shock absorbing rubber pellets. These pellets give under high pressure protecting players from impact injuries. These rubber beads also allow for improved acceleration and deceleration while running, molding perfectly to any cleat pattern. We use pellets designed to fall away from players and playing equipment so it stays where it is laid.

 


  • Adult Sports and Synthetic Field Turf

    This diagram shows the general construction and layers of our Adult Synthetic Sports surface. Once the dirt surface is shaped and planned to desire we compact the surface and pin Geotextile Fabric over the complete synthetic sport work surface. Next we create the static base of the playing field by laying layers of Crushed Granite in finer grades until it resembles formed concrete. The granite surface it constantly soaked and compacted to insure the surface is uniform and solid. Once completed the surface acts as a solid slab of granite insuring a perfectly flat playing surface that lasts the life of the field. The Synthetic Sport Turf is then applied to the granite base. Silica Sand is now evenly and lightly applied to the surface of the field and brushed in to allow the fibers to stand up straight. After the first layer of sand is finished a thin layer of Granulated Rubber is applied, followed by another thin layer of sand. Finally a second thick layer of rubber is applied to the surface and brushed in. This creates a safe, high performance playing surface that provides excellent drainage as well.


  • Youth Sports and Synthetic Field Turf

    This diagram shows the general construction and layers of our Youth Synthetic Sports surface. Once the dirt surface is shaped and planned to desire we compact the surface and pin Geotextile Fabric over the complete synthetic sport work surface. Next we create the static base of the playing field by laying layers of Crushed Granite in finer grades until it resembles formed concrete. The granite surface it constantly soaked and compacted to insure the surface is uniform and solid. Once completed the surface acts as a solid slab of granite insuring a perfectly flat playing surface that lasts the life of the field. A Shock Absorbing Foam Pad is then applied and bonded to the fields entire playing surface. This gives a much higher resistance to injuries and concussions. The Multi Filament Youth Sport Turf is then applied to the foam base. Using a turf with a secondary curled fiber in youth sports allows the infill material to stay firmly planted and not kick back into a players equipment and clothing, as well as their bodies. Silica Sand is evenly and lightly applied to the surface of the field and brushed in to allow the fibers to stand up straight. After the first layer of sand is finished a thin layer of Granulated Rubber is applied, followed by another thin layer of sand. Finally a second thin layer of rubber is applied to the surface and brushed in. This creates a "youth" safe, high performance playing surface that provides excellent drainage as well.

  • Pee-Wee Sports and Synthetic Field Turf

    This diagram shows the general construction and layers of our Pee-Wee Synthetic Sports surface. Once the dirt surface is shaped and planned to desire we compact the surface and pin Geotextile Fabric over the complete synthetic sport work surface. Next we create the static base of the playing field by laying layers of Crushed Granite in finer grades until it resembles formed concrete. The granite surface it constantly soaked and compacted to insure the surface is uniform and solid. Once completed the surface acts as a solid slab of granite insuring a perfectly flat playing surface that lasts the life of the field. A Shock Absorbing Foam Pad is then applied and bonded to the fields entire playing surface. This gives a much higher resistance to injuries and concussions. The Multi Filament Pee-Wee Sport Turf is then applied to the foam base. Using a turf with a extremely thick thatch curled fiber in pee-wee sports allows for little infill material to be used. The densely packed curled fibers provide the grip and cushion needed for sports play while removing any material risks to very young players. Silica Sand is lightly applied to the surface of the field and brushed in to allow the fibers to have a solid and consistent footing. This creates a "pee-wee" safe, high performance playing surface that provides excellent drainage as well.
